Surveying Positions
Survey CAD Technician needed. An ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of minimum experience working with Carlson Software and/or AutoCAD LDD with field surveying experience. A candidate must be organized, possess a strong work ethic, have attention to detail, and have experience with various types of surveys. Must have reliable transportation and be punctual. Associate degree or higher in surveying technology a plus, education reimbursement opportunities available. Competitive salary, benefits and 401k matching.
BNK is accepting applications for field personnel positions, including party chiefs, instrument operators and rodmen. We are seeking individuals with a positive attitude, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn. You must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. FPME Positions
BNK is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our team. The Mechanical Designer will work with the BNK Team on multiple concurrent projects and be responsible for the preparation of permit drawings and construction documents for building HVAC systems. Work will include survey of existing HVAC systems, systems design and analysis, load calculations, HVAC drafting/modeling, coordination with other trades, production of drawings suitable for permitting and construction, quality control of finished projects, and field/construction coordination activities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform design of HVAC systems (commercial HVAC systems, split systems, hybrid systems, duct-free systems, packaged heating and air systems, etc.), including HVAC load calculations, HVAC equipment, supply diffusers, return grilles, and ventilation system layouts and sizing for small to medium commercial projects.
- Projects will include tenant upfits, building renovations, and new construction.
- Analyze system options and evaluate existing systems, including on-site survey of existing HVAC systems, as applicable.
- Coordinate all aspects of project document completion within BNK and externally with clients.
- Complete full design in accordance with applicable codes.
- Projects will be completed using AutoCAD/REVIT
- Assist with bid and construction phase services including reviewing bids, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, participating in project walk-throughs, and providing field observation reports.
Requirements:
- Experience in HVAC design and relevant HVAC codes is required.
- Experience with AutoCAD/REVIT is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Candidates must be willing to learn and adopt BNK design standards.
- Responsible self-starters preferred.
- Effective communication and collaboration working with other BNK team members and clients.

Salary Range:Â $45K to 55K depending on experience
Civil Positions
BNK is accepting resumes for a Senior Civil Project Manager with a minimum of 10-12 years of land development design experience. Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D or MicroStation/GeoPak for supporting project designers is preferred. The position is responsible for managing land development projects including design, client coordination, permitting and construction administration. Strong design knowledge in the areas of water and sanitary sewer utilities, street stormwater conveyance, stormwater SCM’s, grading and erosion control plans is required. Responsible for managing and working efficiently with assigned staff to achieve a quality project for our clients.
Knowledge of local municipal land development requirements is preferred. North Carolina PE required.

Bass, Nixon and Kennedy, Inc., Consulting Engineers is accepting resumes for a Civil Project Manager with a minimum of 5-8 years of land development design experience. AutoCAD/Civil 3D design experience is preferred. Responsibilities include all aspects of civil project management including the design and permitting of roadways, water and sanitary sewer utilities, stormwater control measures, grading and erosion control plans. Experience in the preparation, design and permitting of stormwater management plans is required. Knowledge of local municipal land development requirements is preferred. North Carolina PE is preferred or ability to obtain within 2 years.
